Bourne Engineering was established in February of 2008 in Bellingham, WA by Jason Bourne after his local employer, Dibble Engineering, suddenly closed its doors in January. He has been a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of WA since 2003 (Lic. #39827). He provided a seamless service transition for many Dibble clients who remain with him to this day. His mission is to continue providing honest, high-quality, holistic small to mid-scale structural engineering services for Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan and Island Counties. Bourne seeks to help his clients navigate the construction & building code process from beginning to end, depending on their individual desires and budget, with far more than just rigid engineering calculations and drawings.
